Set Up Email Forwarding for Campaigns in Google Workspace/Gmail

This guide walks you through setting up email forwarding for campaign emails sent from your Gmail account. Forwarding these emails to inbound@parse.leadjabber.no allows for automatic capture of campaign reply emails within your campaigns.

Steps:

  1. Open Gmail Settings:  Log in to your Gmail account and click the gear icon in the top right corner. Select See all settings.
  2. Navigate to Forwarding and POP/IMAP:  Click on the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
  3. Enable Forwarding:  In the “Forwarding” section, click the button  Add a forwarding address.
  4. Enter Forwarding Address:  A pop-up window will appear. Enter the forwarding address as inbound@parse.leadjabber.no and click Next.
  5. Verification of Forwarding Address:  Gmail will send a verification email to inbound@parse.leadjabber.no and it will be verified by LeadJabber.
  6. Choose Forwarding Behavior (Optional):  Back in your Gmail settings, under “Forwarding,” you can choose what to do with the original email after forwarding:
    1. Keep Gmail’s copy in the Inbox (recommended to maintain a record).
    2. Delete the Gmail copy.
  7. Save Changes: Click Save Changes at the bottom of the page to activate email forwarding.

Important Notes:.

Testing: Test the forwarding functionality thoroughly to ensure emails are forwarded correctly. Answer an email sent as a test from your outreach-campaign and verify that the answer arrives in the LeadJabber Engager and that the contact is removed from the Sequence.
